++REGISTRATION NEEDED – scroll down ++
Is it possible to simplify how we speak without compromising what we intend to say? Yes! Can this help us achieve better communication with our EAL learners and their families? Yes! In this Learning Together session, we will look at some features of communication in English and why they may be challenging for EAL learners. We will discuss practical ways to simplify how we communicate to help EAL learners access the curriculum and to help their families engage with school life.
