Embedding Diversity, Equality and Inclusion in our Practice: Anti-Bias Work
These sessions have been created for teachers and practitioners who are interested in the themes of migration, inclusivity, language learning and child development in multicultural families.
Our next meeting Embedding Diversity, Equality and Inclusion in our Practice: Anti-Bias Work will take place on Thursday, 17th of February at 7 pm via Zoom (free but registration needed, see below). This will be our fifth session. While the common theme is supporting migrant children and families, each session is a standalone session. You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you want out of the four.
This time, we were delighted to meet Dr Colette Murray ECEC Lecturer and Diversity and Equality Advocate in TU Dublin Blanchardstown Campus and EDeNn and Ann Halligan, Manager of Curious Minds Preschool, Castlebar Co Mayo to discuss not only the importance of embedding diversity, equality and inclusion in our practice, but also how to.
Please, watch the videos (video 1 and video 2) prior to our live discussion. These sessions will be a safe space to share lived experiences and will be used as a medium for exchange and Q&A from the expert featured in the videos.
